A man from Granby has died while riding a horse near Neosho.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a pickup truck hit Keith Hopper on Highway 86 five miles east of Neosho around 6:20 p.m. Sunday.

Hopper, who was 49, died at a local hospital.

The patrol didn’t say if the horse survived.
