After meeting with the State Emergency Operations Center, Governor Mike Parson is urging for people to stay off the roads tonight with the possibility for severe storms.
The governor is asking for Missourians to limit travel as much as possible and stay tuned to their local forecasts.
The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for 44 counties, extending from southwest to northeast Missouri until noon on Thursday.
Severe thunderstorms are possible into Thursday morning as well which could lead to flooding.
