The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire that heavily damaged a popular restaurant in Sunrise Beach.
Firefighters responded to the Branding Iron restaurant in Sunrise Beach around 5 a.m. Saturday with heavy smoke coming from the building.
Firefighters attempted to make entry and ventilate the roof, when the restaurant self-ventilated and became fully engulfed in seconds.
Crews were able to get the blaze under control, but not before it did heavy damage to the restaurant.
Investigators believe the fire to be accidental.
No injuries were reported.
