Roads across the Ozarks turned slick during the Thursday morning commute.

Several schools canceled class ahead of the storm.

At 8 a.m. Modot’s Traveler Info map showed most roads north of Springfield were covered.

Several Go Patrol spotters reported ice covered roads, with crashes reported north and south of Springfield.

Thunder snow was reported in Kansas City.
