(KTTS News) — The National Weather Service says multiple rounds of rain are expected between now and Tuesday night.

Some parts of the Ozarks could get up to 2.5 inches of rain.

The heaviest rain will fall through Monday night, especially along the Missouri and Kansas border.

Multiple rounds of rainfall will occur into Tuesday with the highest rainfall amounts occurring from tonight into Monday evening. Rainfall amounts will generally range from 0.75” to 1.50” with localized amounts up to 2.50”. #mowx #kswx pic.twitter.com/PDbb3VPKJ1
