(KTTS News) – Four people were rescued on Saturday that became trapped on a river during a thunderstorm.

According to reports from Central Hickory County Fire and Rescues, one of the individuals suffered a medical emergency and went underwater.

All four individuals were safely rescued and were transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
