A duplex near National and Commercial in Springfield sustained minor damage in a fire early Thursday morning.
When fire crews arrived just before 5:00 a.m., they found flames on the side of the building on east Blaine, but got them under control quickly.
No one lived on the side of the duplex that caught fire.
A fire marshal is investigating.
