The 2th Annual Turkey Trot kicks off the Thanksgiving Holiday today.
The largest Thanksgiving Day 5K in Missouri features thousands of participants either walking or running the distance.
Proceeds from the Turkey Trot go to Springfield-Greene County Park Board Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund and the Developmental Center of the Ozarks.
The trot begins today at 8 a.m., at the Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. St. Louis St., in downtown Springfield.
