Former Springfield Public Schools Employee Charged After Making Threats To District

A former employee of Springfield Public Schools has been charged after authorities say he threatened the district.

Brian Price has been charged with making first-degree terroristic threats.

Investigators say Price was on the phone with a worker with the department of unemployment when he got frustrated and said he was armed and would shoot up a school.

Price didn’t name a specific school but mentioned the Kraft Administration Building, which was closed at the time and no one was inside.

KY3 is reporting Price was arrested at his home.

Police were not able to find any weapons.
